FOOTY 15

Football ball

pen Footy 15 is a football pools game that works in a similar way to the Premier 10 and Soccer 7 games, but whereas Premier 10 and Soccer 7 can be played all year round, Footy 15 can only be played during the English football season.

To win a prize from the Footy 15 football pools competition, players are required to predict the outcome of 15 designated football matches and get 11 or more of those predictions correct. The jackpot prize, which has a minimum value of £100,000, is won by a player who gets 15 out of 15 of their predictions right.

Because there are 15 matches involved in Footy 15, this game is more challenging than Premier 10 and Soccer 7. With three possible outcomes per match, and 15 matches involved, the odds of you getting all of your predictions right using luck alone are extremely slim (we make them around 1 in 14,348,907). However, your odds of winning can be increased by using your knowledge of form, fitness and previous results to help you make your selections.

The Footy 15 game costs £1 per entry, and you can make more than one prediction for any match you choose if you don't mind paying for the privilege. The cost of your entry is - as in the Premier 10 and Soccer 7 games - determined by the number of predictions that you have made for each match multiplied together. It is therefore a good idea to make as few predictions as possible if you want to keep costs down. Of course, if you choose to play Footy 15 as a syndicate then you may be willing to pay more in order to cover a greater number of eventualities.

Some football pools players are disappointed when the English football season ends, because that means Footy 15 goes into hibernation at the same time. Fortunately, you can still play Premier 10, Soccer 7 and the Classic Pools throughout the summer months as long as you're willing to have a stab at Australian and international matches. The prize money is just as good, and playing during the summer is just as easy, so the lack of Footy 15 action for a few weeks isn't usually a big problem.
