SOCCER 7

Soccer 7 is a football pools game that requires you to predict the outcome of seven specified football matches. If six or seven of your predictions are correct then you will win a prize. As in similar games such as Premier 10, the size of the jackpot varies depending on whether or not anyone won the previous week, but you will typically be looking at an estimated prize pool of £1,000 or more.

If you make one prediction for each of the seven Soccer 7 matches then your entry will cost £2. You can make more than one prediction for one or more matches and in that case your total stake is calculated by multiplying the number of selections in each match together, and then multiplying by £2. For example, if you made one prediction for six matches and two predictions for the seventh match your stake would be 1 x 1 x 1 x 1 x 1 x 1 x 2 = 2 x £2 = £4.

Because there are only seven matches involved in the Soccer 7 football pools competition, it isn't quite as difficult to win as Premier 10 or Footy 15. That said, it isn't a complete walk in the park either. To illustrate, with three possible outcomes per match, the chances of you getting all seven matches correct with luck alone are 1 in 2,187.

Of course, football pools competitions appeal because you don't have to rely purely on luck. Instead you can study the form of all the teams involved in the competition and use your skill and judgement to select what you believe are the most likely outcomes in each case. The more skill you can bring to the game, the more chance you have of winning. That said, you will still need some luck because football teams vary in their performance from match to match, and there is always the possibility that one or two 'shock' results could upset the efforts of form purists.

Soccer 7 is a football pools game that will appeal to people who like the idea of focusing on a smaller selection of matches than is possible with Premier 10, Footy 15 or the Classic Pools games. You can't usually win as much playing Soccer 7 as you can with those other football pools games (remember, the Classic Pools can make you a multi-millionaire!), but you can still win a sum that is well worth celebrating.
